This beautiful jade wire wrapped wing is made with a single 8mm jade bead wire wrapped with care with about 20 inches of 18 gauge true copper wire*

*True Copper is copper straight from the electrician (my spouse). Usually 18 Gauge untreated or plated copper.
This copper can tarnish the skin and the copper will tarnish through a natural chemical process of reaction to skin PH levels. This can be cleaned off the ring with some effort, however the skin can simply wash it away.
